I feel like a lot of my blogs recently have been on the topic of homosexuality...and that isn't to necessarily pinpoint any one "sin" according to the Bible. The Bible lists numerous things that are considered to be displeasing to God. So I will say it...sin is sin...according to the Bible, none is considered more than any other. We, as Christians, are to love the sinner while hating the sin. For those of you who are parents, or had good parents...part of that love is tough love. We always love our children, but have to give the guidelines for their own good...sometimes that is punishment. That is how God views sin...he loves us, but sometimes has to discipline us too.

However, there isn't many things considered sin right now that has a bigger agenda in today's society. Obviously politics has become filled with legislation and views on homosexuality, but that isn't the only area of our current world. You also have large corporations that feel like they have to pick a side, and not remain atleast neutral on the issue. Home Depot is under a large boycott right now for their promotion of this issue. Another big story I heard about today is taking place at Augusta State University in Georgia. Read this story by clicking HERE-Augusta State...In this story a grad student in the counseling program, named Jennifer Keeton, has been reprimanded for her Christian beliefs. Since she does not agree with homosexuality, she has been told she does not have "correct" beliefs and cannot finish the program without doing "diversity and sensitivity training"...which includes the recommendation to attend Gay Pride parades and other homosexual promoted events.

So, I say this as a wake up call...we, as so called Christians, can sit back and do nothing...or we can get involved, even in small ways. Voting is always one way to make a difference, for some it may mean boycotting the Home Depot...regardless, please no that this isn't just an issue about sexual preference anymore. There is so much more to this agenda and we see the homosexual movement increasing daily. Beware Biblical Christians...it's going to get more and more difficult to speak out on beliefs that are based from the Bible.
