Day of change...

Today was a day of change...both literally and hopefully. First, for the literal change...this is day one without cable television! Since we ordered new living room furniture not too long ago, we realized we would need and want to change the layout of our living room. The only issue is that we don't have a cable jack on the other side of the living room...and it would have been really hard to change or fix. So, our decision...to get rid of cable all together! Therefore, we bought the digital television antenna, plugged it up, and now we are watching FREE tv. We get about 15 channels, including all of the main tv stations, so with the help of the internet we won't be missing out on too much.(and will be saving $50 per month)
The hopeful change comes by way of early voting today! The governor of TN will definitely be changing...and there seems to be some pretty good candidates. The guy we voted for supposedly has an 87% approval rating in his current position. Although we live in a highly democratic area...we actually have some conservative candidates running for Congress! This is a huge thing for the Memphis area...unfortunately the 2 major candidates on the Democratic ticket are very liberal...and one is outspokenly racist. So, hopefully change is on the horizon for Memphis representation too!
