God puts people in our paths for a reason...sometimes we may not even realize their importance until years later. I feel so fortunate...there are specific accounts throughout my life that seems obvious why God either brought me in someone's path or vice verse.
A few instances that stick out:
~I come from a divorced family, but I hope I can inspire others to know that the cycle doesn't have to continue. Marriages can succeed!
~my father passing away...this Tuesday it will be 1 year...and I know that friends and family will need my assistance when their difficult time comes in the future.
~years ago a dear friend was brought in my path, along with several other girls...and to see God truly transform her hurt in a short period of time was and still is amazing. She was truly brought to Memphis for a reason back then.
~years ago I went on a mission trip with a small group of people. There was only 5 of us, but some very impactful moments occurred. One person from our group shared his testimony of his life after homosexuality. I will never forget it...and learned a lot through his story and how powerful God's power is...for the record, he is married now to his lovely wife.
~another instance was in college...I was on a road trip to work camp with a good friend, when I learned of her past abortion...she had been raped in highschool. God freed her from the guilt and allowed her to share her testimony to touch the lives of others.
Above was a short list, but several people/events that have taught me a lot about God, loving others, and the ability to help or shed insight to others. I know I can sound or come across harsh on here sometimes...but that is for a few reasons I guess. To share the truth whether it is popular or not, to show tough love, etc...but please know that despite my views, the bottom line is learning to love others despite the differences. Unconditional love is hard to come by, especially when we all have a past and choices we aren't proud of. However, God can use anybody and anywhere...thanks to those of you who have impacted my life and taught me lessons along the way!
