worn arguments & old attitudes

I promise this isn't meant to be a recurring topic, but I feel I have to address it...once again, if you are a practicing Christian, I honestly do not understand how you could vote for Obama. I understand that there are a multitude of factors that can determine why a person votes a particular way...I realize the economy has been in a decline and people are worried (lets be blunt, we are to put our faith in Christ during trying times) However, I believe only so many of these reasons for voting can be backed by the Bible. Two Biblical based ones are abortion and homosexuality.
The Bible states:
Jeremiah 1:5...Before I formed you in the womb I knew you...(anyone that has had a child or has been able to see an ultrasound picture or video can not disagree with this...humans are living within the womb...they are alive)
I Corinthians 6:9-10...Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral not idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Especially if you voted for this man...did you know that the Obamas hosted a reception for LGBT community? LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender)
It isn't the fact that he was in company of this community...that is not my issue. My problem with this is the remarks he made:
-"And though we've made progress, there are still fellow citizens, perhaps neighbors or even family members and loved ones, who still hold fast to worn arguments and old attitudes (I must interject here...these worn arguments and old attitudes are Bible-based...they date back to before Jesus walked on earth); who fail to see your families like their families; and who would deny you the rights that most Americans take for granted."
-"I've called on Congress to repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act "
-"I'm also urging Congress to pass the Domestic Partners Benefits and Obligations Act, which will guarantee the full range of benefits, including health care, to LGBT couples and their children. (Applause.) My administration is also working hard to pass an employee non-discrimination bill and hate crimes bill, and we're making progress on both fronts."

I will try to make this short...Obama is making decisions that will effect the future. God is clear in this Word, the Bible, about these issues. Once again...I can not believe this liberal, non-Bible based man is in office. It truly breaks my heart to see these comments and decisions being made...all we can do is pray for God's will to be done!
