Silent...

This blog is an outlet for me...there are definitely things that I write on here, that I wouldn't necessarily say to people in person. My main purpose of this blog is to help inform others of information that might not be common knowledge, or that might not be on the television at night (or just to get you to think). I have truly realized that the media gives us the information that THEY want us to have, and not information that we might need to make an informed decision.
All of that being said, I truly do think that we as Christians are in a tough spot in today's society. If we say too much, we get criticized for being bigoted, for being hate-filled, and there are probably so many other things you have heard. On the other hand, what is the result if we are silent? Honestly, I think it is our society today...there are too many things that are considered "ok" today, that wouldn't have been years ago (or that aren't okay according to the Bible). We shouldn't be silent and just sit back and watch things happen, WHEN we can do something.
By no way am I saying let's go out and get in people's faces and offend them...but I truly do think it is okay to have conversations, to join groups of like mindedness, etc. So, that is one reason I started this blog. You may agree or disagree with what I say on here, but I have had so many compliments on information given. No, the majority of it doesn't originate with me...but I do feel it is my job to pass it on. I don't want to be silent...and I don't want you to be silent either. So, pray for conversations...and let God lead you in them. It can be religious based, or politically based...but if you are in-line with the Bible's teachings, then speak up. We truly need more of it these days, and with the world we live in, I think people need guidance and logic.
